Who am I?

My full name is Lawrence Kenneth Clifford. You can call me Ken, Doc, or Dr. Clifford, your choice. My wife Patti and I have been married since 1966. Our oldest son lives near Fredericksburg, VA. He recently married and gave us a new daughter-in-law and three wonderful "instant grandchildren". Our youngest son lives nearby. He and his wife share their wonderful 8-year-old daughter Miki with us every week. Life is good.

I began my professional life as a high school Physics and Math teacher. I taught in Glendale, CA, Honolulu, HI, and Loma Linda, CA from 1967 to 1976. I graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 1980.

My varied career in Dentistry has included private practice, corporate management of dental centers, and 5 years in public health dentistry at a Native American clinic in California. I love new experiences in dentistry, which explains how I finally arrived at the mini implant hybrid bridge which is the subject of this website.

I have had many hobbies through the years so we have a choice of subjects to discuss while we work on your bridges! I love motorcycles, cars, computers, politics, and other things too numerous to mention. The one thing I keep coming back to is golf. My handicap has slipped to around 14 as a senior, but I still enjoy playing tournament golf whenever I can.

At age 65, I am not ready to retire! I love helping folks get rid of their dentures. I recently sold my general dental practice to allow me to concentrate on only this aspect of dental care. I no longer do root canals, fillings, crowns, or any other general dentistry. I can refer you to other local dentists if needed, but I specialize in fixed hybrid bridge denture replacement.
